Getting your students ready for their QCE exams and PSMTs can be daunting, but Jacaranda’s learnON platform is here to make it easier. Help your students revise and achieve their best with these learnON tips.  

Prep with Past Papers & Practice Questions

  1. Finding Past Exam Papers:
    • You’ll find past Year 12 QCAA exam papers at the bottom of your Resources menu on the right of your screen.
    • Students can work through these online or offline. They also include marking guides and sample responses so you and your students can see what great answers look like.
  2. Progressive Exam Revision:
    • Introduce exam-style questions from Year 11 to build familiarity and confidence.
    • Each lesson in learnON includes a bank of exam-style questions for Year 11 and actual past QCAA questions for Year 12.
    • Use chapter summaries and worked solutions to reinforce learning and ensure students understand where their marks come from.

Planning for PSMTs  

  1. Sample PSMTs and responses are in the teacher resources as Word documents, so you can modify them to suit your students’ needs. 
  2. The PSMT guide outlines the steps students need to take, so go through this in class to help them understand what’s expected and what a great PSMT includes. 

Showing students how to make the most of jacTUTOR
