Business Studies Teachers’ Conference 2019


The Business Studies Teachers’ Conference is an annual, NESA Approved conference hosted by The Economic Literacy Centre as a place for Business Studies Teachers across NSW to further develop and discuss teaching strategies, topic content, the use of IT and teaching resources. The 2019 Conference theme is “The 2018 HSC Business Studies examination, teaching strategies and case studies.”

The Geography Teachers’ Association of NSW & ACT is delighted to present its 2019 Annual Conference on 1 & 2 April 2019 at ANZ Stadium. The 2019 focus this year is “The Place of Geography: Reflecting on the PAST, assessing the PRESENT and shaping the FUTURE,” with workshops on best classroom practice, learning across the curriculum, and Stage 6 HSC marking and skills. Training will also be offered on using drones in geography, ICT applications and fieldwork.

With the 2019 school year well underway, Senior Geography teachers are out there in classrooms teaching and implementing the new Queensland Senior Geography Syllabus.
