Dr Michael Carr-Gregg
Keynote: Supporting students through the pressures of VCE

Dr Carr-Gregg is one of Australia’s highest profile psychologists, author of 15 books, broadcaster and a specialist in parenting, children, adolescents and the use of technology for mental health.

Did you know 42% of Year 12 students suffer from high-level anxiety, stress and many suffer from depression1?

The VCE years can be a huge source of stress and anxiety for both students and teachers alike. As you know, students can struggle to keep up with the intense workload and can put added pressure on themselves to achieve a high ATAR, and as their teacher, all of these stressors are echoed on you.

We understand these challenges – that’s why this PD opportunity is on us! Join us for this free 90-minute expo to learn new ways to help your students cope with the pressures and prepare for success in VCE.

We understand that plans change. If you can no longer attend an event, let us know by emailing connect@wiley.com.

I can’t make the start of registration. What should I do?
Jacaranda events allow ample time for picking up your badge and networking so there is no need to arrive at the exact start. However, we may need to restrict entry once the first presenter goes on so do try to arrive at least 5 minutes before the event officially begins.

Please email connect@wiley.com and we will forward any information that is available for distribution. However, please note that not all events will have materials and information that we can pass on.

I don’t see my question. Who can I contact?
