Introducing the ‘Tech of the Month’ seriesIt’s no secret that teachers are incorporating technology into the classroom these days. In fact, according to the 2013 International Computer and Information Literacy Study (ICILS 2013), already more than 90% use a computer at least once a week at school when teaching.[1]

As the use of technology in education becomes more common, the number of applications, hardware, software, tools and other resources available to teachers has grown significantly, and continues to grow each day. With constant upgrades and innovations, keeping tabs on all these technologies can be overwhelming, and with so many options, how do you know which ones to choose?

We want to help education professionals figure out what’s right for their classroom so that’s why we’re introducing the “Tech of the Month” blog series. Each month we’ll highlight some of the best in ed tech to help teachers save time, engage students and improve learning outcomes.

Stay tuned for our first post in the coming week! Until then, feel free to let us know in the comments which technologies you use or would like us to explore.
