CDES 21st Annual Psychology Teachers’ Conference 2019
In the 21st year of providing PD for secondary Psychology teachers, CDES is proud to present another quality program that delivers excellence in teaching practice for senior secondary Psychology in 2019. Specific workshops are also available on: Year 10 Psychology, the IB Psychology curriculum, exam preparation, achieving a subject score of 40+, teaching Psychology for the first time, the use of technology in Psychology classrooms, and much more. With almost half of the 37 workshops offered being new topics or prepared and delivered by new presenters, this conference has been organised with fresh, stimulating material alongside current pedagogical practice, covering differentiation, flipped classrooms and other evidence based teaching strategies.

Encore COMVIEW 2019
Encore Comview is an annual one-day conference hosted by the Victorian Commercial Teachers Association. For teachers of VCE Accounting, Business Management, Economics and Legal Studies, the program includes presentations and workshops to update teachers’ knowledge of their subject disciplines, provides classroom strategies and activities to assist in improving student outcomes, and facilitates forums for discussion and debate in business education.

Business Studies Teachers’ Conference 2019
The Business Studies Teachers’ Conference is an annual, NESA Approved conference hosted by The Economic Literacy Centre as a place for Business Studies Teachers across NSW to further develop and discuss teaching strategies, topic content, the use of IT and teaching resources. The 2019 Conference theme is “The 2018 HSC Business Studies examination, teaching strategies and case studies.”

GTANSW Annual Conference
The Geography Teachers’ Association of NSW & ACT is delighted to present its 2019 Annual Conference on 1 & 2 April 2019 at ANZ Stadium. The 2019 focus this year is “The Place of Geography: Reflecting on the PAST, assessing the PRESENT and shaping the FUTURE,” with workshops on best classroom practice, learning across the curriculum, and Stage 6 HSC marking and skills. Training will also be offered on using drones in geography, ICT applications and fieldwork.
