More than just places and maps: meet the Geographer’s best friend
Presented by Ray Pask, Jill Price, Lynne Griffiths, Jane Bellamy, Alex Rossimel

The Jacaranda Atlas turns 50 years old in 2018 and, to celebrate, we’re releasing a brand new edition of this award-winning Geography resource. This latest edition combines the best of print – hard cover, more maps, bigger maps and new and updated case studies – with the latest online technology. For the first time, the Jacaranda Atlas also comes with an eBookPLUS to enable a more dynamic and personalised learning experience for students. More than just a reference for locating places, the Atlas resource package fully supports the units in the new curriculum at every year level from Levels 7–12 and can also be used to teach essential geographical skills.

Attend this hands-on workshop to learn more about the new edition and explore the eBookPLUS, including the new interactive wall maps, online statistical mapper and online teacher support. Designed for non-Geography trained and experienced teachers alike, you will leave with sample resources and the skills and confidence to use this essential reference in the classroom. Participants will also receive a complimentary copy of the Atlas and a wall map to keep (one set per school).
